The Oscars

The Academy Awards, better known as the Oscars, are awarded for artistic and technical merit for the American film industry and will honor films released in 2022. They are scheduled to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on March 12, 2023. The awards are regarded by many as the most prestigious and significant awards in the entertainment industry in the United States of America. The awards are a recognition of excellence in cinematic achievements of primarily American films, as assessed by the Academy’s voting membership. The various category winners are awarded a copy of a golden statuette as a trophy.
